Finally, 80 years after the end of WWII, The resistance group Rada 3 (Council of 3) led by General Luza, was recognized. Because this group was working with the western front during WWII, the communist Czechoslovakian Government suppressed information and persecuted members of this group. My father had a large role in this R3 group, and the organizers of this celebration in their research uncovered information I was not fully aware of. My father kept details of his underground activity against Germans from me and my sister, since he did not want to put us into some potential danger. This celebration provides closure to my efforts, in finding out what can be found about his involvement. Thank you Stanislav Růžička, historian from Bohdalov, and Hyněk Jurman, writer of several books about Rada 3 and General Luža.
Just to document. The hunting cabin my father had build in Bohdalov forests, at the beginning of German occupation of Bohemia and Moravia, was very close to longitude, latitude location (49.49090919362134,15.86922378485675) plus or minus 50 meters. This strip was owned by the Bohdalov's rectory. Before and during the occupation, he was leasing next to it large hunting grounds, since caring of wild forest animals was his hobby. Unfortunately, the rectory had to cut down trees in that area in 2019 and clear the land, so it is unlikely that any stone foundation remains could be found. Many meetings of Czech resistance was held in and around this cabin and this is where the R3 group was established.
